The Little Book of Books is a playful reading activity booklet for young people aged 10-16, created to make reading feel a little more fun and a lot less intimidating. I wanted to move away from the idea taht reading is something you have to do and instead create something that encourages young people to enjoy reading through age appropriate recommendations and fun activities. Inspired by my own love for reading and all things bbookish, I built the project around a colourful circus theme, illustrated characters and interactive activities to create something that feels exciting and inviting. This project was developed with input from library professionals, helping me make sure the booklet was actually useful and engaging for its intended audience. Copies have been diplayed in Eye Library and used by children.
